WE BRINGS IN ESTABLISHED PARTNERSHIP TO LAUNCH SCIENTIFIC ENGAGEMENT OFFER

THE NEW CLIENT SERVICE WILL DRIVE SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOURAL CHANGE, AS HEALTH AND PHARMA SECTORS UNDERGO A ‘VITAL REVOLUTION’

LONDON – 27 JULY 2020 — WE Communications (WE), a leading global integrated communications firm, today announced a new scientific engagement and medical education offering. WE has brought on established healthcare leaders, Terry Bradley and Ben Fisher to helm this burgeoning service for clients, which has become increasingly critical in the time of COVID-19.

“COVID-19 has triggered a ‘vital revolution’ in the way pharmaceutical companies need to engage with their stakeholders,” said Catherine Devaney, head of Health and deputy managing director, UK. “The pandemic has been a catalyst for speeding up the use of technology by pharma to quickly reach and educate audiences, especially given the demand for rapid progress in resolving this health crisis.”

WE’s new service complements and extends its existing sector expertise in technology, healthcare and pharmaceutical communications. The service will include digital engagement, partnerships with the clinical community, scientific narrative, and strategy development. Both Bradley and Fisher have been named directors and are tasked with driving new business for the offering and supporting clients at a country, EMEA and global level to reflect the global footprint of WE’s health offering.

“Now more than ever, pharma companies need help understanding the role technology can play in their ‘new normal’ and how to effectively deploy it to increase audience engagement and understanding,” said Bradley. “I look forward to partnering with clients to navigate this rapidly changing environment, extending the agency’s already-established data-driven, creative communications offer to scientific engagement and medical education.”

Speaking on WE’s launch of the new service, Fisher added, “Scientific engagement enables our clients to tell the human story behind the data. Behavioural science will be at the heart of everything we do and all our programmes will be designed with the purpose of illustrating the positive impact of our clients’ innovations in this unprecedented time.”

Bradley and Fisher will be based in the UK.
